Hi all

I have a problem with a MIRA shower. It is a therm control wall mounted, which is direct off a Combi. Just recently it has started to whistle when running. If you turn down the hot/cold mix (Which has to used in the hottest position to get a decent temperature) the pitch will change and eventually disappear. However, then the shower is too cold to use. The MIRA is around 7 months old. Any ideas. Thanks CT

I must have ever service manual they ever did but the excel, someone probably borrowed it.

You sure your not singing in the bath and the neighbours whistling along.

Is that the model that has the different cartridges for different pressures, if so it could be that.

Otherwise i would flush it out and check the filter.

You can adjust the temp setting on the Mira's, to give more hot or cold, you used to take the body out and turn the gears, X amount of notches.
Has it got an identification code on the end face of the theroscopic assembly.
lt= low temp. ht= high temp

Hi Scruff

I also cannot find the IOM manual. It has a pressure change dial within the body high or Low.
I think it also has High or low pressure inserts for the shower head, which has the high pressure insert inserted.

I will check the strainers first and the pressure setting o the adjuster.

Thanks scruff
