Hi
im fitting a oil fired boiler its an "heatpac" made by firebird in the uk http://www.firebirduk.co.uk/heatpac.shtml
I want to fit a auto air vent and a pressure release valve close to the boiler.
I know that the AAA has to be mounted upright
and think that the release valve also should be fitted upright (the red cap on top)
my problem is there isnt room in the heatpac the outlet on the boiler tank is close (about 2")to the top and back of the metal surround.
So where can i fit the valve and vent?
the 1" copper pipe connects to the boiler on the top corner of the back of the tank then it will turn down go down for about two foot then go through the bottom of the heatpac ,then turn 90 degrees and enter the house under the floor. then travel to the hot water cylinder in the airing cupboard.
