Since switching the heating back on after the summer, the towel rail in the bathroom isn't heating up properly. It's not stone cold, but it's not heating up enough to be of any use.
Bleeding it made no difference.
The pin on the TRV is moving freely.
I switched all the other radiators off for about five hours to try and budge an airlock. It heated up a bit more but still not as much as it should have done.
Does anyone have any thoughts? Is it possible that the TRV is jammed internally, even though the pin is moving?
We're plunging into a Scottish winter and the wife is starting to give me that look... |

take it off the wall and flush it out with water intill the water runs clean . while you are doing that its a good idea to check circulation and valves while the rad is off the wall (make sure both valves are working correcty.
