I have a Baxi Solo 3 PFL 50 boiler with a single thermostatic controller. Since installation, the property has been split into 2 units. The heating system covers both units with no zones set up.
I would like to fit an additional thermostatic controller. Baxi have advised me that this is possible with this boiler, but I am not sure they fully understood what I was trying to achive. Basically I want a controller in each unit, with the one that is set to the higher temeprature to override the one set to the lower temperature. Each controller needs to be able to be set independently, with variability as to which one is set to the higher or lower temperature.
Does anyone know if this is possible? If so, what would be the best controller to use for this purpose and is there any special method of connection required?
I would appreciate any help here. If anyone is in Warwickshire, UK and would like to carry out this work for me, I would be more than happy to pay them.

By 'thermostatic controller' do you mean 'wall thermostat'?

If so, simply install a wall thermostat in each unit, and connect them in parallel. Then the one that is set to the higher temperature will keep the pump and boiler running regardless of the other thermostat's setting.
