I installed a new mixer shower and pump about a year ago. It was working fine up until a few weeks ago when occasionally the pump would not start but after a while (say the next day) was fine again . At the moment the pump will not start at all and the water is nothing more than a dribble.
The system is a gravity feed system. It seems like the pump is not detecting the change in pressure when the shower is turned on and is therefore not starting. Nothing has changed that I know of from when it worked.
The pump is less than a year old so I will be gutted if I have to buy a replacement.
Does anyone have any ideas??? |
