Hello, I would appreciate your advice. I have a victorian house with a basement (where the 1 year old combi boiler is positioned). The water mains is of fair pressure (on boiler 1-2 bar) but my mains is shared with neighbours....when they do their washing it's noted in my shower!. That is a problem but not my question. We are having a loft extention done with an en-suit shower and i am concerned I will end up with a drip and not a gush as Its a long way from the boiler. I was looking into a smallish electric water tank direct from the mains where water will be heated and with a pump attached, allowing a power shower. Am i asking to much. Where would be best to read further on the web? much appreciated.

hiya mate, doesn't really sound feasable i'm afraid, your only real option to get shower avoiding the combi is an electric shower-you stated that pressure drops due to next door use?this may affect the performance of an electric shower(which aren't all that powerful anyway) only other option is triton pumped elecric shower-this is for use with storage tank of cold water but as your doing loft conversion siting a storage tank may be an issue. Without stored hot water i cant see any other option than electric or through the combi but i'd strongly advise you to get in a pro to look at your options with you.

hope that helps
