| hi can anybody help out with some advice please, my daughter has a mira xl shower that is supplied from a combi boiler , everything is ok with the heating and hot water in the house, but she has devoloped a problem with the shower, she says that if you turn the shower on the water only dribbles out, you have to turn the shower right up to get any force, and then of course the water is far to hot, is this as i believe a problem with the internal workings of the mira shower in the form of the thermostat, and is it a big job to do, regards dave |

If the shower is an external valve with exposed pipes, you can disconnect each pipe in turn to see if the flow of water through it is okay, and by default, if it is, it's a problem with the shower.
If it's built in or the pipes are not accessible, I'd give Mira a call. They're very good with technical help and have their own engineers who will come out to repair it for you if necessary.
Cheers,
Joe. |
