Hi,

Very recently whenever the tilet is flushed, or water is drawn from overhead tank (if washing machine is being used for example) a loud noise - which can only be best described as a ship's horn! - continues for about 20 seconds ...

Any ideas what might be causing this (-and should I be concerned!),

Many thanks,

Don-

Hi
Ballvalve in the roof is your problem.
The price of them is so low now i just put a new 1 in..
You could give it a service but i'd change it.
If you do put a new 1 in, make sure you change the fibre washer at the same time or it will bite u.
