Insurance - public liability - claims - new to this!!

Hi, I'm fairly new to plumbing. (I've done a part time two year course and been in the game for about 3 years). So I've still got a lot to learn, but I'm not a total novice. Anyway! I've been working on my own for the last 12 months, and I still haven't got round to sorting out public liability insurance! Whoops. So I'm wondering who I should go to, and what I can expect to pay? Also has anyone ever had experience of a claim with one of these firms if they've made a claim? Is it worth spending the money on?

Thats about everything!! Cheers in advance for any advice, and until its sorted, I'll have to keep treading carefully.
