I sub contract work out and I get 2% citb levy taken off every £100 labour i invoice. I wanted to know if I could get out of this because the citb levy is not used to train plumbers. I asked the CITB office and they said get in touch with my plumbing federation - there is one for Scotland and Northern Ireland but not one for Wales & England. Has anyone else refused to pay the CITB levy and what has been the outcome. No one at the CITB office could tell me where to contact the Federation of Plumbers!!any help with this would be appreciated. It is a thorn in my side having to give 2% of my hard earned labour costs away!!
