Good corrosion resistance
no scale or fur build up
Lower thermal conductivity - less chance of exposed pipe freezing
Lower thermal conductivity - less chance of burns from exposed pipework
Lower thermal conductivity - Less heat loss, lower cooling rates in DHW
Recovery after freezing (down to -15oC)
Low Noise, pipe does not resonate so absorbs noise
Low conductor of electricity, Reduced bonding requirement
Compatible with copper, plastic fitting grab onto copper
High flow rates- a 15mm elbow is equivalent to 0.5 m of pipe
Very fast installation
Easy installation
Easy to modify
Reusable fitting
No fire risk when fitting
Less risk of nail damage- holes in joists v notches
Low wastage
Ease of transport
Does not work harden
