Magnaclean filter

Hi any one used the Magnaclean powerflushing filter .i use the norstrom p/f machine and find it very good to use ,dose the filter half the flushing time as says in the advertisments ,is it worth the investment.

Saw it being used once.
Flushing time was not halved however it did remove a lot more magnetite during the first hour or so.
My colleague said that he found that sometimes the more heavy mag you have being flushed around the system helps with removing stubborn deposits by the abrasive action.
A point to ponder.

I've not used the Magnaclean, but I recently did a big 18-radiator power flush job and hung a couple of powerful ring-magnets on a piece of string in the flusher sump. (I think the magnets were originally intended to go in loudspeakers).

The results were dramatic! The mags ended up covered in a very thick black layer of magnetite which I fished out of the sump and wiped off. (Next time I'll place the magnets on the floor of the sump inside thin plastic sandwich bags to make getting rid of the magnetite easier. I'll just turn the bags inside out!)

The liquid left in the sump was much clearer than usual, and the end results were excellent.
