BG have quoted £482.00 for a powerflush on a 5 year old Worcester Bosch Combi boiler on the basis of 10 rads.
Does this seem reasonable ?

We had a Powerflush by independant plumber, it took several hours and cost £300 incl VAT. We had a contract with BG, they said that the system had been flushed 18 months ago. My man said that it looked more like, 5 YEARS. My advice is shop around, we did and saved several hundered pounds over BG. We no longer have a BG service contract. Good Luck

Try contacting ukwt@hotmail.com
They may have the answer to prevent future blockage and the need to powerflush. Mention my name Tony Prior if you wish or not.
Good luck
