Do not use in continuous DHW loops (unless on a timer)
Rodents can eat it (this is rare)
Fittings cannot be used on chrome or stainless steel pipe
Expensive pipe and fittings
Not rigid when hot - requires support
Not rigid when hot - does not look neat on exposed pipe
Not available in all merchants
abrasion resistance poor
The overriding consideration that has to be made is will it last, Hepworth guarantees their product for 50 years and the minimum design life is also 50 years.
