These types of controls also provide additional features, which are normally, only found on high end controllers some of which are: -
· -Multiple heating zones, allowing for instance the bedrooms to be set at different time switching to the downstairs rooms.
· -Automatic Summer switch off
· -Minimum limitation of the boiler, which can prolong boiler life.
· -Maximum limitation of boiler, which can allow UFH systems to be directly connected to the system.
· -Pump periodic run in the summer
· -DHW priority, essential with high efficacy cylinders
· -Automatic adaptation of heating curve, which allows the system to automatically adjust its parameters to learn how you house reacts
· -Legionella protection, the boiler will periodically over heat the DHW to kill bacteria
· -Full frost protection even when system is set to off
· -Remote control from phone / PC
The biggest benefit to the user is a much more constant internal temperature, this is because these system are usually fitted with a proportional valve which try's to maintain the flow temperature in line with the heat loos from the house.
