There are many misconceptions around warm-air heating systems due to the appalling systems installed in the UK in the 1960/70s. These were mainly built on, private & public, housing estates. The designs were cheap to install - but also nasty. Ducts were frequently under-sized, resulting in an air-rushing noise nuisance. The warm-air units usually had little control, and what there was, was basic.
