Ductwork is not too difficult a D-I-Y task, there are very few specialist skills required. There is fibreglass, metal and round flexible ductwork. The fibreglass ductwork does not corrode. As long as the ductwork and system is designed correctly, there should be no problems. On completion of ducting and warm-air unit installation, a commissioning engineer may perform the finer points.
