I have a old main mersey water heater which is not suitable for running a shower as when you turn the cold water on at the same time as the hot water (to get a suitable temperature) the boiler stops firing. It does state in the manual that the boiler will not run a shower. Would I be able to upgrade to a new boiler that would allow me to use a shower? I do not want to replace my heating boiler as there is nothing wrong with that. How easy would it be and would it be very expensive? any advice would be appreciated!
