I've had smartfit controls for the past seven years and thought that they worked well but following serious problems with my boiler ( replaced burner. fan and ignition board ) I've concluded that the operation criteria of the smartfit system contols has been a major contributor to my problems. They work well to bring the space tempeture up to occupation levels but to maintain the level they cause the boiler to short cycle and when the fan bearings started to fail the low level vibration ( once every 10 mins) caused other failures with the boiler components.
I'm now looking to replace the controls but the smartfit is all extra low voltage including the atcuator.
Any advice about the best replacement system would be appeciated.
