I have a Combi boiler and an electric shower. I thought these would be independant of each other. However when running the shower, should any of; a cold tap, toilet, dishwasher, washing machine run then the shower immediatly goes cold.
This is really frustrating with a family of 5 - I 'd appreciate an ideas why this is and what is a fix ?

Thanks

They are, a cold tap has nothing to do with your combi boiler. I would think this will happen with any electric shower if it wasn't thermostatically controlled. What make and model is the shower ? I guess this has happened since installation ?

These notes have been taken directly from your showers installation guide.

"C The stabiliser valve minimises variations in
shower temperature during mains water pressure
changes. If changes in shower temperature are
experienced during normal use, it will most likely
be caused by the water pressure falling near to or
below the minimum level. The drop in pressure
may be due to water being drawn off at other
points in the house whilst the shower is in use. If
pressure drops appreciably below the minimum,
the heating elements will automatically cut out."
