My mom has 4 large solar panels fitted to the roof about 13 years ago.. They work fine. But when i was in the loft i noticed non of the pipe work (22mm) to and from the panels had any insulation. Can this be right?

No it is not right, they need to be insulated, but you can't use ordinary insulation, it must be able to take the high temperatures of solar, Armaflex HT (High Temperature) Lagging is readily availiable from suppliers
