i am nearly a nvq 2 qualified plumber and i am only earning £3 an hour. i am not yet 18 but am in 1 month. should i stick with my current job and wait until i am 18 and nvq2 to see if i get a raise or shall i find a new job?

I'd say stick with the qualification, but £3 an hour is a bit of a killer.

If you're learning, that's valuable. The problem for employers is that when you're learning, it's costing them a lot to teach you. When you're able to do a complete job by yourself, even if it's just changing a tap washer, you start to redress the balance so you aren't so much of a liability.
Once you're over that hump, you know you never need be unemployed in your life, and where you go depends on you.
