Collect and use only as much as you can use for reasonable irrigation.
Do not store Greywater, even for a day. Warm days will produce a septic bacterial mix, which will cause odors and blocking of pipes.
Wastewater from WC's and dishwashers should not be used; it is also inadvisable to use wastewater from kitchen sink, due to concentration of detergents & grease.
Use Greywater at rate of 1 gallon per 4 sq. ft. of the garden.
Never apply Greywater with a sprinkler, and never let it 'pond' on a lawn.
Use non-toxic detergents, avoid any with Boron, and use as little bleach as possible
Do incorporate a 3-way valve to allow Greywater to be diverted to the drains (or septic tank) in the event the ground conditions cannot absorb any more water, winter, etc.
